Canterbury is a state-of-the-art 15,000 square foot facility located in the Corporate Lakes Development.

Elaborate safety and security features ensure that your child is protected, secured and accounted for at all times.  No person may enter our preschool or grade school wings without using a security badge to unlock doors.  Parents are issued these numbered keys upon enrollment and individual keys may be “turned off” to prevent access by individuals whose status may have changed.  This security system far exceeds any numerical keypad system where an observer may learn a parent’s number, or antiquated sign-in procedures which actually protect the school, rather than the students.

Our preschool and toddler classrooms all have at least three exits and active fire alarms with strobes in each room.  Our toddler units are located within our F-3 tornado shelter, where we practice tornado and storm drills (we have found that it is easier to move 250 preschoolers to these units, than it is to move ten toddlers anywhere).

Our program is constantly monitored with our comprehensive closed-circuit video system.  Parents may observe their children in a centrally located conference room which displays live video from the classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds.

Outdoors, we enjoy two enormous playgrounds for preschoolers and grade-schoolers, as well as a smaller, separate area for our toddlers. These are complete with climbing toys, athletic fields, tricycle paths and are surfaced in the synthetic “field turf” found in professional football stadiums. Our playgrounds are green in January, produce no grass stains, and are never muddy!
